The aviary at Kuranda is the finest exhibit of birds I have seen in Australia. They fly free under a screened rain forest setting. I have no reservations about recommending it. Their collection of Mannikin birds is extensive as well as others. Galahs are found through most parts of Australia. I couldn't see the forest for the trees. Notice the Green Parrot above my head...completely unafraid of humans.
