Brisbane is like the facets in a diamond, each facet has it's own sparkle. This trip was no exception. Last year I rode the ferry across from the South Bank to the city. This year I wanted to do more so I got a River Cat pass. The pass entitles you to ride the ferry to unlimited points and experience the Brisbane River views for only about $9. Wool is an Australian staple, marshalled at the Wool Exchange for ocean shipment the world over. Today that huge red brick building is a land mark. The trees in spring colorize the river shore. Far away, one can see a church with its steeple kissing the sky. Many flowers are blooming on the South Bank and it is undergoing a transformation. Downtown, strolling around the train station, you see many different architectures juxtaposed next to one another. City Hall while not unique by Australian standards is impressive with its clock tower and high ornate ceilings inside.
