Islands abound off the north east coast of Australia, one can be seen
in the distance. Beautiful pristine clean beaches are like this all over
Australia. "Togs" (bathing suits) are optional.

This is the map of the area we covered on the Sunshine Coast. In the afternoon, we traveled on up the coast to Noosa National Park. Thefacilities there were top notch for 'bush walking' (trail hiking). The walkways meander up and down the mountainside, offering a chance to see turkey, kingfishers, koala bear and more from the pathways. More pictures of some of the fauna I saw are on the next page. The Sunshine Coast extends north of Brisbane and is less than an hours drive from there. |
