Kathrynne Holden and Dr. Allen Roses, from America, were also featured presenters. Bob and Joy Graham, John and Robyn Lochore, Dennis and Jo Greene and a cast of scores put on a memorable conference.

Celia and Liz assisted in the Conference computer center. Unbeknownst
to me..while in Melbourne,..a cryptic message from Liz and Celia to the Parkinsn
List was sent. I had observed them talking low and giggling when Homeboy
would pass.

Dr. Rick Stell, gave and excellent lecture on "Demystifying the Neurological Examination for Parkinson's disease". This subject was long overdue in Parkinson's conferences the world over. Dr. Stell took his training under Dr. C.D. Marsden in London, one of the world's most published researchers. He is now the director of the Movement Disorders Clinic at the Australian Neuromuscular Research Institute (ANRI) which assesses patients undergoing thalamotomy and pallidotomies in Western Australia. |
