The climate is Mediteranean and palms are abundant. The Fremantle Prison is to the right out of this picture. It is a popular tourist stopping place.

We had morning tea at the boardwalk on Fishing Boat Harbour. The restaurant has tables set up on the wharf with unbrellas so that you can enjoy your coffee, fish and chips or pastry and enjoy the ambiance.

Sailing and power boating are very popular in Fremantle.
